Visual of Visualization

When authors write, they use punctuation in their word to describe the meaning of the story. The words make us imagine a picture in our heads.

Imagining a picture in our mind or drawing it down on paper can help you understand what you are reading.

This strategy is called Visualizing

... The other kid were already in the water. Paddy dipped his feet in ... It was FREEZING cold !!!

That is the meaning of visualization 

Meal challenge

In CIP we had done it with DS. We had to make a meal with 12 dollars. It was really hard but my team somehow got it done. In  2 weeks we had to figure out what we should make and how much it would cost to get the ingredients, then we had to go to paknsave and get our ingredients i didn't go but the rest of my group did and they had got fruit and pasta and tomato's. 

Beat & Beyond

Hurumanu - beats and beyond

This hurumanu we have changed into music. In music, we are learning the types of music, the types of instruments, the meaning of music and what is music. There might be other things that we will learn but this is what we are learning so far. 

Today we had learnt the different type of guitars that Mr Mitchell had and the meaning of the things about the guitar.
We had to work on our books and had a title called beats and beyond.

We also did the glossary of the guitars. We looked at these guitars:

             

 Dreadnought guitar

 AMP Plug

 Backpackers guitar

Then we had to make a glossary on what Mr Mitchell had taught us from the guitars.

Tunning pegs - Used to put tension on the strings to tune them
Soundhole - A hole that makes the guitar make a sound
Nylon string guitar - A guitar with nylon strings
Steel string guitar - A guitar with steel strings
Capo - Hold all six strings at the same time
Dreadnought guitar - A guitar with a big body
Backpackers guitar - A guitar with a small body
AMP plugs - Plugs into an electric guitar
