When authors write, they use punctuation in their word to describe the meaning of the story. The words make us imagine a picture in our heads.
Imagining a picture in our mind or drawing it down on paper can help you understand what you are reading.
This strategy is called Visualizing
... The other kid were already in the water. Paddy dipped his feet in ... It was FREEZING cold !!!
That is the meaning of visualization
