For the past weeks we have been doing and app or a game for a social issue my social issue was animal poaching the reason why I picked the social issue is because I love animals and yup I just love animals but I really brakes my heart when I see dead animals but I just cry when I find out that they have been killed by humans. I just can't stand that so please don't start and stop if you are already poaching please I am begging don't poach. MY APP hope this persuades you to not poach animals.

Today we have been looking at vegetables and fruit that will be good in winter these are what i chose
Carrot
Onion
strawberries
pea's
beetroot
garlic
best environment to grow the fruit and vegetables
Carrot:
Planting Carrots. Plant your carrots in rows that are 1 to 2 feet apart is the best way how to grow carrots. Seeds should be planted about a ½ inch deep and 1 to 2 inches apart.
Onion:
When planting onion sets, don't bury them more than 1 inch under the soil. For sets or transplants, space plants 4 to 5 inches apart in rows 12 to 18 inches apart. Add mulch between the rows of onions
Strawberries:
While they are able to be grown in most soil conditions, strawberries prefer a sandy loam that is deep and contains very high amounts of organic matter. Extra compost, peat moss, and some sand or grit can be added to your selected site to create the best environment for growing strawberries.
Pea's:Sow seeds outdoors 4 to 6 weeks before your last spring frost date, when soil temperatures reach at least 45°F (7°C). ...Plant seeds 1 inch deep (slightly deeper if soil tends to dry out quickly) and about 2 inches apart.
Beetroot:
Beetroot prefers cool to warm climates. It needs at least four hours of full sun a day and grows best at the base of larger plants like capsicum and tomatoes or anywhere you've just grown leafy greens like lettuce and spinach.
Garlic:
Garlic is best planted in mid-autumn.See our tips on both planting and harvesting garlic. It's so easy to grow—and frost-tolerant, too! Garlic cloves from grocery stores are often old and mushy. It's so simply to plant your own cloves.

Today me and some other classes went pick plums and clean up and pick up all rubbish. We will be making plum jam I'm thinking if it will taste nice or not but im just gonna just have to wait.
PLUM JAM
Place fruit, lemon juice and water in a large, deep, heavy based pot and bring to the boil, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer until the plums have softened, about 40 mins. Keep on low heat and add sugar. Stir continuously until sugar has dissolved.
PLUM SAUCE
Into a large preserving pan add red plums, malt vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, lemon zest and juice, ground pepper, ground mace, ground ginger or grated fresh ginger, ground cloves, cayenne pepper and salt.
Bring to the boil, stirring frequently, and cook until pulpy.
Pass through a coarse sieve, return to the pan and bring back to boil for approximately 5 minutes.
Pour into sterilised bottles and seal
