This morning, Teachers told us that we were going to go clean up the garden/compost.
So we had to get plastic bags and cloves this helps us to not get dirty while we clean up the rubbish.
The reason why were doing this is so our environment stays clean and all our plants can breath again
While we were cleaning up all the rubbish someone fond a five dollar note we were so amazed the teachers decided to take a photo.
today was very fun and i hope that next week will even more.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Tane Mahuta
I'm part of the Tane Mahuta group.
Our job this week is to think about what is better for our school and the environment.
Today we have to check apart of the school that we haven't seen before.
My favourite area at school is the field because when we got there I was able to think of a lot of things that we could do help it look better.
My best idea to improve our school is -
more shade
pretty flowers
water fountain to drink out of.
fountain ( not drinking fountain)
birdhouse
native
bushes
tables and chairs
animal farm( dogs mainly )
fruit and veges you can pick and eat
nature
Hammock
